The installation of the new bollard system will commence on Monday 24th September. Access will be maintained during the works with only one lane being closed at any one time. The new system will 'go live' towards the end of the week. If you haven't updated your car details please contact the office as soon as possible so you can still use the entrance and exit.

We have been let down by the manufacturer again who have now informed us that they no longer produce some of the parts but have alternatives which will work on the system. The fact that the bollard was up for less than 24hrs after such a part had been fitted has proved that this is not the case. We are therefore obtaining costs to replace the bollards with a modern system where parts are UK based and readily available. I would like to confirm that all the costs for the parts for the old system, as always, are being recovered from the driver who caused the original damage.
Once the new system has been installed we will be installing flexible bollards to extend the splitter island on both sides with more signs to highlight the risk of unregistered vehicles using the entrance/exit. If this proves successful, the splitter island will be permanently extended along with permanent signage.
