NPEL Membership

Membership of the Company entitles you to vote on NPEL matters and allows individuals to stand for election to the Board of Directors. Membership is open to all freeholders and long leaseholders upon completion of an application form, available from the Estate Office or by completing the slip on the half-yearly rentcharge notification. Membership, although free, is not automatically granted simply by paying the rentcharge. To conform with legal requirements, eligible residents must complete the formal application to be a Member.

While tenants are not able to be Members, they may wish to join the Nottingham Park Residents Association (NPRA), the social organisation within the Park that represents residents’ interests. Please note, membership of the NPRA (which gives you the Park Card and other benefits) is separate to membership of the NPEL.

Nottingham Park Residents Association (NPRA)

The NPRA is a social organisation within the Park, separate to NPEL, that is set up to:
  • promote residents’ interests and work to improve their services, amenities and environment
  • encourage and facilitate local residents’ involvement in The Park community
  • organise events of interest to residents
  • represent the views of residents

The NPRA organises the Farmers Market and other events, including regular talks throughout the year with a local theme. Annual membership is only £5 per household and this gives you the Park Card (which provides some great discounts) and the twice-yearly Park News magazine.
