19/05/22 Lenton Road Closure Nottingham City Council have informed us that resurfacing works are being undertaken on Lenton Road by the Castle Gates next week, 23rd to 27th. This will mean that the Lenton Road entrance/exit to The Park will only be available for entry to The Park Monday to Wednesday and will be fully closed on Thursday and Friday.
There will be a diversion in place during the works and pedestrian access will always be maintained.
17/05/22 Spraying The landscape team will be spraying on Thursday 19th May. They will be spraying in sections 1 - 5, 14 & 16 - 19 weather permitting. Please click here to view the plan.
29/04/22 No Mow May We are always looking to increase the biodiversity on The Park. You will no doubt of noticed the wildflower meadows on Newcastle Terrace and next to the Park Tennis courts, which we are continually trying to improve.
This year we have decided to take part in Plantlife’s annual ‘No Mow May’ campaign. So, from the 1st of May the landscape team will stop mowing some of the lawned areas to let the wildflowers bloom, providing a feast of nectar for hungry pollinators. The team will cut around the edge of the designated areas and install small signs to highlight why they aren’t being mown. The areas will be sections of the Circuses and one side of Duke William Mount along with the grass next to the existing wildflower areas.
